I am going to order them from Autozone to see what they look like. I' will let you know how they look and fit. If I don't like them I'll return them. They run $29.99 for both.

These are the plastic thingys that go on the windows so rain doesn't get in right?... if so I hope they are like the JDM ones... $29.99 is a steal compared to jaydeeemm

Pretty cool for 30 bucks. Definitely a steal compared to the $150 JDM ones.

Hope those pictures help you guys, I took them especially for you. Anyway, they blend in with the car, so they don't stick out like soar thumbs. I do have a black ep, so they blend in on that, I am not sure what they are going to look like on a lighter colored car.

Thanks.

since you obviously have firsthand experience with the jdm window visors, can you tell me if they go over the pillar like the autovents do?

Jerky they do go over the pillar covers. They are actually contoured to fit over them with foam under one side and an adhesive strip running verticle. They are very thick as well unlike the venshades.

Here is the Vent Shade Part Number

These are the parts materials included. It only brought two small alcohol pads so I suggest steal some of your folks alcohol to make sure the surface is clean. After it's clean just peal the backing of the tape and stick on. Simple enough!

Here is what its looks like by the mirror and by the door sash/pillar. I wish it looked a little nicer by the mirror.

Here is a shot of the profile with the door open and a shot of the passenger side as it looks from the drivers seat.

Last pic I swear.... Here is the Drivers Side from the drivers side and one last pic from the outside.

I rate these as follows:

Price 10
Fit 8 (mirrors look funny)
Functionality 11
Workmanship 10

They keep the rain out even with the window open an inch in pouring Florida rain. The windnoise has also decreased since installation. I just wish they looked a little nicer and more finished at the mirror.

It is only held up by double-sided tape? How strong is the hold?

If you clean the area where the tape will be it will hold forever. I have had personaly stuff attached with the double sided tape for over 150mph on another vhicle. It comes with the tape on it already. If not just make sure to use body molding or outdoor double sided tape from 3m.

thanks for the pics! i am somewhat not liking these. i don't like how it goes over the pillar and how it looks by the the mirror. i'm sure we can take a dremel to the mirror part though, yeah? i want ones that slide into the top part of the door and don't go over the pillar. if i don't find those i am definitely getting these ones though. fuck the jdm ones. they look good but not 150 dollars good.

I've had my Ventshades on my white EP for about 2 months now and I commute to work from the High desert to the valley in Cali, and the winds pick up the closer I get to home, so I think they hold up pretty good for me driving 80+mph and the 50mph winds.:D
