Im sittin at around 900 miles on my car and was wonderin if its ok to start runnin it hard. Ive heard in some cases its good because it cleans out carbon and crap but i just dont want to hurt my engine in the long run. Thanks for the advice

Today was the day for me.

599...600 but I just got to work.

On the way home...traffic...damn but I did screw with a Celica GT.

But now. chirped 1-3 hit the redline cutout of course but man, I love my baby.

I did not appreciate 5K and up but now I do.

go for it.

Does anyone shift at 5k plus every day? I find that in order to get any type of quick speed or acceleration you almost have to or nearly every car beats me to the 60mph mark unless it's a really slow driver.

yeah you really do have to because of the close ratio. Shifting below 4K is a good way to get rear-ended where I live. i love fast traffic:)

You got that right. I asked the service advisor about it one time, telling him that if you use the shift points in the owner's manual you get know where. He said you got to wind them out. I was like ok, you said it.
