Just wondering if there is anything I should watch for and bring up with the dealer this first week of having it? Like any known problems that may/will arise?

Thanks,
Brock

Facial cramping is a BIG problem. Once you get the :D , it's hard to let it go. As for known problems, the fact that you can't buy a CTR will drive you nuts once you realize how neat the Si is.

I like these responses :D

I am picking it up at 1pm today, its getting detailed right now. Anyone else here lease theirs?

I do like the CTR look, hopefully someone will produce a good kit to replicate it. What size are the rims on the CTR, 17s?

Also, does anyone here autocross with theirs? Im not into the straight line drag strip thing, the civics strong point is more in the turns than the straight line races. I used to have a 97 EX that I had setup as an autocross car. Wasn't the fastest on the straights, but could corner like nothing else.

Brock

I am seeing a doctor due to my face stuck in the "shit eating grin" position. :D

oh yeah, CTR has 17's

congradulations on your new car. Welcome to the site. The si is still new so there isnt a big aftermarket. But there are some things you can do to your si, like lower it, DIY black/dark gray headlight housing, and some other mods that will improve its performance and appearance. ;)

Welcome to the site and good luck with the car! Just make sure you get some good springs before you do anything else! EP's are SUV's out of the factory.

Congrats on the new car. Only problem I have right now is having to accelerate like grandma until I hit 600 miles. As people drive past I can't help but think that they are thinking "Is that the new Si? Damn, that thing is slooow." :(

Anyone else have this experience? Is there a support group?

412 miles and counting...

You've already found a support group. ;)

Wow, this car is a blast! Got 47 miles on it now.

Its depressing to know that I spent $5k in upgrades on my old EX to still be slower than the new Si...wish I woulda saved it and got some forced induction for my 2k2 when it is available...but I'll get it anyway! :p

Although I wasn't too thrilled when my buddies g/f said "awww, its cute!" Oh well, still very fun to drive.

Looking forward to when the aftermarket really opens up this new powerplant and goes nuts with it!

As far as the suspension goes, are the Ground Control coilovers and some Koni adjustable shocks the best?

Brock

Very nice S2000. Same size engine as ours, but produces 100 more hp. I love S2000's. Have you ran it at the track yet? If so, what did you run?
