What do you guys think about the K&N Typoon SRI?

Yeah I'm really thinking about getting the K&N Typoon short ram Intake. I read the facts about it and it seems good. But people are telling me that K&N doesn't make good intakes for Honda's. I need your opinion Ep'ers.

I think you're better off with getting either an Injen, or DC sports intake instead.

The problem with the K&N SRI compared to others is that it has a narrower tube, with more bends in it. This slows down the airflow somewhat.

I got the Injen SRI, and it is great!

i just got the typhoon yesterday. and i'm tottally happy with it. the hardware , tube and the filter are really high quality. the install was really easy. "came with great instructions" its. c.a.r.b. approved. and man it sounds great when you hit the gas. my car really has come alive.

i really wanted the aem cold air but after all the rain and the hurricane we just got i'm really glad i got the typhoon.

doesnt seem like a bad intake, but i'd rather have the icebox

their is a recent forum floating around where people who have the icebox are having buyers remorse claiming it is no where near what its worth. After reading that forum I decided to go with another intake.
