Not an EP, but it will soon be parked on the grass with an EP in its spot. ;)

BobRoss

I have done a little ov everything, autocross, road/track racing, drag....

not the top dog at anything, but always up there.

I think if i concentraded on doing one of the 3, i would have better results, but to be honest, i just dont care. I built the car for my enjoyment, and to have fun (read: get me into trouble) on the street.

Thanks for the kind words.

Very nice car, but one request. Can you at least give a little run down of what the running gear consists of? I like to know whats goin on inside the engine bay.

How do you like that IC? Is it pretty efficient?

I'm considering doing the same for my car.

Steve

The core i am using (from jackson racing), is about as inefficient as they get (I was expecting a lot better from a name like JR). The style of ic though, being a water>air, is VERY efficient, and i would reccomend it to everyone.

If you do decide to go water>air, put the water tank somwhere other than the engine bay, i heatsoak rather quickly because of the fact that my tank is under the hood

My transportation needs have gone from -1 to about 9. As i was dorming on campus, i used the car only as a toy to work/play with, now i have to comute (30-40min) every day, i need somthing reliable, and good on gas. As fun as it is, the gti is neither.

Very nice once again, thanks for the mod list. By the looks of the engine bay, i would have had no idea so much was going on in there. Man, those 16s look like 18s on that car. Nice work.

I love MkII/MkIII Gti's

very clean. I saw a 2.0 turbo at my local drags in a MkIII. Pretty cool stuff...

by the way as far as gas mileage is concered with the ep3. With i/h/e I get better than stock (31 mpg) while dogging it ALOT. Good luck with the ep3 purchase

So what are your plans for the Si?

BobRoss

Plans for the SI?

Coilovers and Tires are a must. i will probibly hook up my wet kit as soon as i hit 1000 miles... other than that, i will keep it stock tilll i can do a serious swap.... still deciding on what im gonna do there.

in the looks department, i havent really seen anything i am goin crazy for. personaly even the CTR kit is to bulkey for my taste..... hopfully i can just find a nice textured lip/skirt kit.
