What is the torque wrench setting supposed to be on our wheel lug nuts? I hear 65 foot pounds of torque.

i thought it was 81ftlbs, im not sure

The local Honda dealer told me it was 65 ft. lbs. Hmmm?

oh i was talking about what they told me to torque my volks to. i have no clue for stock wheels. look in the owners manual

I don't have stock wheels on my ride, I think the torque spec is for all wheels on our cars. Please correct me, if I'm wrong here.

My uncle know alot about imports and cars in general he is a NHRA liscensed racer... and i was told 85 pounds of touque.... and thats what i use and i have not problems,,

It is, indeed, 85 foot pounds torque for the lug nuts.

Thank you...I had a feeling 65 ft. lbs. was not enough. I better go break out my torque wrench. :)

FWIW, Honda brake rotors and hubs do NOT warp when torqued hard like other cars do.
