Ok, here is the deal, I narrowed it to two choices of wheels. Both made by OZ racing, the only difference I see is that one is 4lbs heavier than the other one, but is cosiderable cheaper.

The wheels are:

1 The OZ Racing Superleggera in 17"http://www.tirerack.com/images/wheels/oz/swap/oz_superleggera_ci3_l.jpg

2 The Prodrive P1, made by OZ Racing http://www.tirerack.com/images/wheels/prodrive/swap/prodrive_p1_white_ci3_l.jpg

#1 weighs about 15 lbs where #2 weighs 19lbs. The difference of price is about $500 from one to the other #1 being more expensive.

So what are you fellow EPers thoughts on this?

EDIT: I have a Taffeta White EP3

The OZ Racing Superleggera... they have the clean CTR look.

But hey its whatever floats your boat or tickles your pickle. Get what you like. Be yourself.

IMHO,

If you go with the heavy ones, a year from now, you'll still be thinking about the lighter ones.

I you go with the lighter ones, a year from now, you WON'T be thinking about that $500.

Or at least thats how it would be for me.

Ditto that... if you have the coin and are willing to spend it, I'd def. go with #1 (they do come in 4-bolt, don't they?)... they look a ton better anyhow...

But nevermind our opinions... it isn't our pocketbook and our car, so do what will make you happy!

I am putting wheel #1 on my black EP. :)

KW Coilovers + OZ Superleggras + Toyo T1S = Very happy EP owner.

Think of it this way too. When it come time to get rid of the car, you can convert back to stock, and sell your rims if you need to. Helps recoup some fo the cost.

With the red accents inside the car, red SI badges, and the red text on the anthricite is too sweet a match.

I'm leaning towards #1 since it's lighter but they no longer make it in white which was what I wanted. And the #2 I can't seem to find it anywhere in the internet and I think they are like the last ones on Tirerack's website.

I still have to save the money though :( So I think I'll be getting #2 anytimes soon.

Well, i'd hafta disagree w/ everyone else on this one. All I can say is white on white... it'll look sweet. I'm either gonna go w/ white or gunmetal on mine. If #1 comes in white, then get those instead. Too many ppl have silver. U gotta stand out from the rest of the crowd. :D

i own the 15x7 oz superleggera.

if you've got the money, they come highly reccomended by me.

oz makes a quality wheel no matter which one, so it's hard to go wrong either way.

I've always said to myself, "If you buy cheap, you buy twice!" Go with #1. Prodrive P1's are rally wheels, great if you're going for the WRC look and need the strength.

Get the LEGS. If you got the white one you'll regret after you get some stratch makes on em. It'll be so noticeable.
