Tansi and I installed the Sparco Grips in her car and in mine. They look great, and work well imo. The gas was a bit of a pita to install and Tansi broke a few nails in the process.......hehe:D

EDIT: Price was $90 + shipping for 2 sets.

Tools used for the install. Power drill, 6.5mm drill bit......or something like that. Allen Keys, a sharpie marker, some pliers and got some longer 6mm screws from Home Depot for the gas pedal. Overall it was very straightforward and simple install. Shouldn't take more than 45min.

Hehe, yes but we will wait on that. I think that I am gonna get ITR dead pedal or MUXX dead pedal for my car and CTR dead pedal for Tansi's car or whatever she decides to get... More important things to get first though.
I just ordered Tein Flex coilovers for the RSX-S and Tansi is in the process of buying HKS Hipower exhaust for her ride......so as you can imagine money is a little tight ATM...

So you have to drill those on the stock pedals? right?

btw, they look great

they're not too bad. only thing is that honda has used those on every car since at least 1992. they work, only problem is that they don't last too terribly long. my clutch cover got worn smooth at first, so feet slipped. then it let go and there was only the black metal, feet slipped more. now even the paint's wearing off, it's down to scratched, bare metal. which sticks surprisingly well... 239K miles can be tough on the clutch pedal... those are looking nice tho. i'll consider getting them if i get a job :D

That is correct Whoisray.
This is for the brake and clutch pedal...
1) remove the rubber covers off stock pedals
2) mark where holes are to be drilled
3) drill holes
4)screw pedals on

For the gas I did not remove the plastic cover. I just drilled right through it, and the metal bar that the plastic cover is attached to. That's why I had to go buy longer screws.

The pedals that wrap around your existing ones are crappy. These drill into your existing pedals so that you will never have to worry about the pedals again, they are VERY solid. I think that all of us at one point or another have had pedal covers that clipped on......and IMO they suck!!! Mine always used to unclip, slide off........etc etc.....not something you want happening when you are going balls out on the track, not to mention dangerous.

yea
clip on pedals are just crappy as shit
slips all the time
if you are looking to buy pedals. go with drilled ones

Thanks. The rubber will not fade away. They are designed to last a while.
Drilling the stock pedals is really no biggie, just mark the holes and drill. Then you can always adjust afterwards if you aren't satisfied with the outcome.

Yea, these are real nice pedals. I keep on going back to this page to look at them. May I ask where you got them? I think I'll get a set.

My normal distributor was out of stock, so I just bought 2 sets for my car and for my gf from Adventon.com
I placed the order on Friday evening and they were at my door next Friday. I had a very good experience with dealing with Adventon. I think that I paid like $98 for both sets shipped.

u can't replace the pedal with stock because these are only pedal covers. they're not the whole pedal assembly. if u're looking to change the whole assembly, check out the Type R's.. those are sweet. u can find them at jdmhondaparts.com

ive had two sets of razo pedals and i think they work just fine. I never had them slip or other wise and when you install them they stay on ther real tight.

nice job on the install. I think my clutch one is a tad tilted on mine

I'll have to fix that later I guess.

I didn't do what you did for the gas pedal, I'll have to try that also. I just used one screw and it worked just fine, but I'd rather have the second screw in.

I've also managed to somehow lose like 3 or 4 of those rubber stubs....damn, anyone know where I can get more? They were in real good, but came out after autox I guess.

well, if you mess up a tad when drilling and notice it is not even, I would just take a dremel and small piece to carve the existing hole in the other direction, helping you slide the pedal a little more in the needed direction and then just bolting it back down. I did that on my last car.

I just got my set today. Well, I have a question, since you gotta drill/screw in the middle of the pedal, wouldn't that break the pedal leg? Also for the drill bit, I can only have 1/4 which is 6.4mm but the instructions say 6.5mm is that a major problem? Thanks!

When I drilled the gas pedal in the middle, I made sure it didn't go through the leg. As for the drill bit, I'm sure it will work.
