I dont know if anyone would be interested but why dont we start a midwest Si club like California and everyone else has. Somewhere where we can all meet up at. Just an idea besides I dont know how many people would be interested just an idea!!!

We could use a lot more EP's at the annual Gingerman Raceway Honda/Si Lapping Day Event in South Haven Michigan, next event is June 2003. Lots of Honda owners from Wisconsin, Michigan, Illinois, Indiana attend each year. Only had one EP there this past June, which was me. I would love to see more next year. Gingerman Raceway is located about 2 hours from Chicago, and three hours from Detroit, site info found at www.gingermanraceway.com

DanSi, we actually have about 5-6 guys attend our event each year from Ohio, I wasn't sure if that was still considered midwest. Not sure if you know Kevin Moss, he is from Cincinnati, he helps out with some of the event duties each year. Kevin does alot of autocrossing events in Ohio with the Cincinnati chapter of SCCA I believe.

hey, i am in!! I have been lookin for a club for the longest time. Fox Lake,IL here! about 1 hour north of chicago. Also, the guy looking for performance shops. Try Car Botique is Schaumburg and also SCA Motoring in Schaumburg. Both are great shops. Also, hey do u ever go to streets of woodfield on Friday nights over the summer? If u ever saw me, i had the silver EP with Red Neons.

I think everybody from the midwest should make at least an effort to go to Gingerman in the spring. The date is far away enough to make plans for the weekend, ya know? Gingerman is awesome... everybody's welcome... like on Honda days, you'll see every type of car there, not just Hondas... but it would be cool if we could get as many Ep's as possible. And all skill levels are also welcome - from the "never done this before" to the "pro".

I think a midwest forum is a great idea. How about a Rocky mountain forum as well. I think I am the only one from Colorado in here evne thoug I know of four EP's in this town. 2 silver, 1 white, 1 black. I talked to the guy with the white one and I will be talking to the guy with the silver one and see if I can get them to join here. DTH, are you reading this thread or what? I hope so and I hope we get what we want.

ugh!...car boutique and SCA suck in my opinion. car boutique is a rip off, they'll rape u on prices...go to ONE6 or Garage Kwai in Arlington Heights, they're right down the street from one another and they're both quality

actually one6 sucks...go anywhere but there if you want your shit done right. And if you have been to one6, check the quality of the labour. those guys take for ever, and they ummm dont tighten your suspension...
