that's funny, and people buy it because it's supposed to help torque...unlike my hp header, supposedly.

Isn't it freaky how they got !53.9whp for a BASELINE?

Compare that to Jackson Racing's piddly 124whp!

they admit that was high, as it wasn't on a dyno jet

If that's the case you might as well throw all of those results out of the window.

What were they using then, a Mustang Dyno?

Steve
I'm not sure, never heard of a dynamic dyno

Here's what it says: Dyno Notes: This was an extremely high baseline, considering the car is factory rated at 160 hp at the flywheel. We found out that in two-wheel-drive mode the Dynamic Test Systems dyno actually reads a little higher than a Dyno Jet.

Dyno Jet = company that manufactures dyno machines

* my guess is that their dyno is a four wheel dyno due to the "two-wheel-drive mode" statement...

I would guess the same. They test a WRX in the same issue so I would assume they brought both cars to the 4-wheel dyno.

Although these numbers are not accurate for proper WHP, they do give a good idea about what coming out at the crank!

I would have liked to see some more "EP specific" mods, like the Hondata heat sheild, custom mid-pipe, etc.
