wassup guys...i currently own a 02 celica gts (has a shit load of mods on it)...thinking of buying a civic si and giving the gts to my lil brother...celicas have no aftermarket support so iam thinking i should get a si.

is it possible to get 200whp with just bolt-on?

how do you guys like your car.

200 whp isn't out of the question ... from the K20A2 (the engine in the RSX-S)

the Si's K20A3 has a very restrictive exhaust system for emissions purposes. the K20A2 breathes much better and responds much better to bolt-ons.

but, more importantly, the EP is a blast to drive. it has good low-end torque, something you're probably not used to from the celica. and with the addition of some new, bigger wheels and tires, you've got a car that's a blast to drive.

What year Si? The 2000 models were excellent cars. Nice looks, a great motor and a HUGE aftermarket.

Well, if you ARE talking about an EPHatch, I think you are in for a treat. We definitely got jipped on tires from the factory, but the car is an absolute blast to drive. Since this engine is in the newer series (K series) there is still a lot of development going on as far as Superchargers and the like, but I haven't had any problems finding PLENTY to sink some cash into. Welcome to the site!:D

What mods do you have on your Celica? Because the GTS with intake, exahust and header would destroy an Si with intake, header, exhaust and Hondata.
You will not hit 200whp with boltons on the K20A3 motor. On the RSX-S motor you can hit that figure relatively inexpensively. intake, exhaust, race header and Hondata.................... or intake, Hondata ITR flash, exhaust, ITR cams, ITR intake manifold..... or get them all and you'll be seeing around 220whp. =)

Well if you want a 1/4mile killer look some where else, but if you want a car that is fun to drive street/autoX...go for it. You will need a few mods. :D

If you consider a turbo a bolt on, which I think it is since there is no internal work needed for most low end kits, you are talking 240-260 whp. (for the low end no frils kits.

A high compression motor with a bolt on turbo kit, isn't so reliable though.

get a forged rotating assembally and a after market block afeter your bolt ons then hit it with a 150 shot of nitrous

Man, why all this hatred? What's he jealous of? He's got a 262 whp EP3!!! It WILL be reliable as long as you do proper maintenance and take care of it.

Saabs and proteges don't mean much to me and the 1.8 tops out at 6 psi and thats why. CR on an RX7? How about a 300ZX TT, maybe a supra? Those are what I am talking about not econoshitboxes.

im guessing you got a turbo on that car from the inter cooler
did you know that na a stock ls1 puts out 320 ?and gets 26 mpg
and by the way by bike has more hp than your car im not impressed
