when to add e/i/h at what mileage?

i heard that you have to wait till a certain mileage to start adding bolt ons. Is this true? i would like to hurry up and get my magnaflow catback as soon as possible.

Wait until you break it in. But it really doesn't matter too much. Have fun with it!!!

You should wait until you can't take it anymore to start moding your car:


The reasoning being that you learn to drive your stock car to it's full potential, and then make it faster, rather then moding the shit out of it and not knowing how to use it in the first place.

at least that would be an auto xers point of view on it.

congrats on your new purchase. i hope you got a good deal (didn't pay MSRP). even after the initial 600 mile break-in period, it still takes another couple of thousand miles for the engine to fully be broken in. so keep that in mind when adding bolt-ons.

good choice on the car. hope you enjoy the car as much as the rest of us.
