Can't really say which one is better. I have Injen and i love it. Roars like anyother intake would. Pulls like any intake would. You should try a search though it helps.

dont get the black injen CAI. it sucks. You'll lose power. If u have ur heart set on the INjen get a red polished or blue. i heard those are better.

get the aem, less piping to absorb the heat from the engine. i dunno.:o plus you don't have to relocate anything.

I seriously dont think the color has anything to do with it, since its ambient heat thats being absorbed. If it was sunlight it might be a different matter. Black Red Polished, im pretty sure its all the same, just depends on the amount of bling you want. Anyone think otherwise?

i went with the aem because i wouldnt have to relocate the fuse box and i also heard that some people had problems with the hole in which the intake went through either scratching or putting a minor hole in the intake piping itself

in the end just like everything else..it all comes down to personal preference, getting a great deal wouldn't hurt either;)

i went with aem cuz it's hidden.. very hard to see it.. plus. the install is easier.

doesnt AEM sit closer to the radiator? wouldnt that hot air make the intake temperatures hotter? either way they dyno close to eachother.

BTW my comment about the black intake was a joke. Its cus i got the black Injen one that most dont have YET. hehe.
at least 2 ephatchers made the switch to Injen after they had AEM. Both of them said they felt the gains were better.

Yea, I have that version also. At first I thought Injen sent me the wrong one. Except color, I wonder what the major differences are?

None, it just looks better. I think SSvr6 painted his black.

For the billionth time:

Dyno'ing an intake tells you absolutely................dick.
Regarding CAI's, AIRFLOW is probably the most important aspect of power production.
You are not moving, so airflow is not brought into the equation.
Fan position probably makes the biggest impact on numbers.
These numbers can EASILY be manipulated.
DO NOT BELEIVE DYNO NUMBERS RE: INTAKES!

The end.
