our v-tec does't really "hit". comes on around 2 grand. however i do know what you mean it seems like it pushes a lot harder once you get it up around 4500rpm, but i think that's just where we make our real horses.

Its all subliminal man. Honda dynos every one of their cars before they leave the factory. They may differ by a horse or lb/ft here or there but its undistinquishable :) .

it is very possible that fresh oil lets the engine rev easier, plus if you were low on oil before the change the VTEC is somewhat slugginsh when oil is near the lower dot on the dipstick.

Talk about the placebo effect, everytime I get my car washed, i swear it feels faster than when dirty. :-)

well my brother changed his oil too and he even said that my car feels faster than his...and its louder...idk...

It doesnt seem like my vtec kicks in. Well not like the regular vtec or the rsx-s does anyway. I guess what im trying to say is I cant notice a difference in sound when vtec kicks in.

You want me to post a soundclip of my car and then you can compare it to 02SilverHB's soundclips? They sound nothing the same past 5200 RPM (Hondata Vtec switchover on my car).
However, before my Vtec kicks in, I would have to agree with you though, they do sound very similar. Too bad the K20A3 doesn't have the Vtec switchover that you can hear and feel......WHy oh WHY didn't they just stick the K20A2 in the EP!!!

This code is flawed. You have boolean operations in a print statement.

Here, I've decided to fix it for you:

boolean goingfaster;

for(int rpm=0; rpm++; rpm < 7900) {
if(rpm > 4000)
goingfaster = true;
else
goingfaster = false;
}
