little problems with my new ep

OK i have only had the car for 3 days now. and already found some problems..maybe i am just picky.

1) They Vaccumed the back of the seats and left lines(which look like gills). I have pics and they will be up tomarrow. My ? is does ne one else have this?


2) The drivers side air vent tilts forward when i start to break.



All in all i am happy with the car, just have these concerns..:)

i think you are being a little picky, but i am too and those things can easily be remedied. have you tried wiping/patting the "marks" on your seat with your hands? it is just cloth it should go away. i had a rim back there once and it left a dent on my seat for like a week. and loose a/c vents can piss me off too. i guess let the dealer look at it.

I think you are referring to the zippers on the back of the seatback.

have the dealer replace the vent.....its warranty. if it bugs you - make them fix it. they will be happy to fix something inexpensive like that.

I had that same dimple, they had to replace the whole dash to fix it. My new dash has a slight dimple as well... and they fucked up my steering wheel while fixing it ...

i have that same dimple too, how weird. mine isn't as bad though. yeah try rubbing those marks with your hands, it is ok to touch, don't worry. alcantara is like suede, you know you can almost write on suede with your fingernail, that might be what happened, that's what it looks like to me.

if its bugging you, just take it back to dealer have them fix it. better now than later when u get busy and forget about it

I have that same dimple too. I thought I had done it when I was installing my head unit or something but I guess it is 1 of those weird little factory things.

a friend at work got a blue ep a few months ago and he said he had a dimple on the dash like that too. he took it back to the dealer and apparently they scratched up other parts while replacing it. i think they had to replace the whole dash piece.

i think i would just have to deal with that one.

Just yesterday I noticed a very slight flat spot, not even quite a dimple, on my dash. I'm gonna keep my eye on it though...
