nice choice...my buddys got a set of those but in 15s...he has falken azines wraped on his...they work good on corners...but are not ment for street racing or track racing...sometime we cant get them to hook but sometimes we cant...but they work real good in the turns

Those are one of the nicest set that ROTA makes.
Put some 215 45 16 Azenis youll be very happy for the price.

Who says they are not ment for track use?
I use them on my EG(15s) and the EP (16s) for track and they work very well.
Maybe the tires are cold?or maybe the driver?

Well the S-03's dont come in 215/50/16's and I wasn't sure if the 225/50/16's fit. If they do lemme know cause thats what I'd be looking at.:)

I'll be getting a set of these for myself!

How much of a pain in the ass is it for shipping across the border?

I would put on a set of 205/50ZR-16's, they keep the stock diameter and are wide enough to handle well and thin enough to not hamper the car with undo drag... and the S0-3's are the way to go for sure.

Nice wheels, I would buy those for my car but they don't come in 17"

I have the sender putting the shipping value under 20US dollars so canada customs doesn't bill me the taxes on the shipping paper work value, anything under 20US dollars and your fine :)

I'm not going to give you advise anymore

cause everytime I do (both here at EPhatch and in person) YOU DON'T LISTEN or even consider my advice

I could have got you those wheels for pretty much the same price (converted Obv) here in CANADA

WITHOUT THE MESS OF SHIPPING ACROSS THE BORDER!!!!!!!

Secondly!!!!!!!!!!!

TALONTIRE.Com for tires!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

PM Graham about where he got his Wheels and Tires (some place in B.C.)

if you want 40series, it should really be 215 . 205/40/16 is both Too small (and funny looking)

The best tires for the money (by far) are the Yoko AVS ES 100

I have bronze 16" rota circuit 8's on my black ep wrapped in Yokohoma AVS Es100....205/50/16...Very badass tires.... I picked these over the azenis becuase the way i drive i need to save as much tread i can..these tires last about 25,000 miles not raced on.

i can only find these @ http://talontire.com

there 215/45/16 and/or 205/45/16

what does the first number mean? eg. 215 and 205 ???

Brand: Model: Speed Rating: Price (CDN) Price (USD)
Falken Azenis Sport Z $215.00 $154.00

these seem to be good for a good price! are they good?

Mugen_EP

The first number ie: 215, 205 is the width of the tire. Also known as the foot print.

Mugen_EP

Yes the 215's would be a good choice for your 16" wheels.

I thought 205/55/16 remains stock size instead of 205/50/16. Maybe I am wrong... ?

IchBinEinSiR

No, I believe that the 205/50-16 keeps the stock diameter of the 195/60-15 that came on the car... it comes standard on the FP Civic EX.
