Honda will give me 70% of my Si if I trade it in

I just got a letter from my Honda dealer saying they will give me 70% of MSRP for my 02 Si if I trade it in for any 03 on their lot.

That means, if original MSRP was $19000, they will give me $13300 for my Si. I have to trade it in for any 03 on their lot.

What do you think? Considering that the only Honda I am interested in right now is the 2004 S2000, this deal does not excite me that much.

is this the same Honda dealership that has a chart on the sales floor showing that Honda's maintain 70% value after FOUR YEARS?

You'd never sell it for much more than that. It's so funny seeing some people advertising them for $16,000-$18,000. Considering that the brand new 03s are selling for just over $16,000, getting $13,300 for a year old used car is actually pretty good.

I agree, it's not a bad deal, but like I said, I would have to trade it in for one of their 03 cars on the lot. And the only Honda I want now is the 04 S.
