This one's a tuffy. I'd go with the Buddy Club if your ok with modifying it to fit your EP. Plus I heard this exhaust is really loud. So if you want a nice low sound (not to low) I'd go with the HKS. The Greddy also sounds nice, and it's cheaper too. Geez I hope I didn't confuse you :p ! Like I said, it's a pretty hard decision. Let me know if your interested in any of em, thanks!

I love my Greddy, another sweet looking exhaust is the tanabe titanium. not sure if they make it for our cars or how it sounds but it looks really nice!

Yes, Tanabe Racing Medallion is made for our cars. First I started out with a custom 2.25 midpipe, no resonator that connected to a Skunk2 Muffler. That sounded great, also was good on gas. Now I have gone with the HKS Hiper, which isn't as loud, but it has a nice rumble. Tanabe was my first choice, if you have the cash go with Tanabe.

imo hks sounds and looks great. that would be my choice

I have the Tanabe, and love it. The construction is great, and the sound is barely noticable at idle,(I have got compliments on how it's so quietly at cruising speed) But once you get on it, loud isn't enough to describe it. I had a RM on my first Honda and I still have the canister, and after 3 years in my dads garage its still shiny and rust free.

okay well me personally i like the hks for a cat back however i would go with axle back... you really dont need a cat back all the much... you will make more power on the dyno with a catback but on the street you will do much better with that low end you get from a axle back... some good options are 1.spoon N1 axle back designed for the si... or 2. the jun axle back designed for the DC5R and mod it to fit you car thats what i got and its fucken badass... but a word to the wise the axle backs cost as much if not more than the catbacks! i got my axle back from a retailer in japan for dam near 660... so be careful...
i will post pics as soon as i get a chance

lol i dont know if you have ever seen it. There is some hyundai sonota...its sort of a maroonish in color. Has a turbo badge, and a ricey wing. Its totally riced out. Its around town though, and he has his rear drums painted neon green. Parks it by the fish hatchery a lot. Its mad stunner.

hey seberONE, what kind of modifications did you do on your buddy club to fit into your EP3?
im kinda debating between the buddy club ($550 shipped) and the T1R mid-pipe ($335 shipped) rite now. are those good prices on both exhaust? if not, are there any other places where i can get them cheaper?

This is my recommendation as well, however, if you are on a budget, just get the b-pipe and run the stock muffler. From what I hear, its not that restrictive.

California police are strict. Sometimes I wish I kept my stock exhaust. The normal Skunk2 catback is a cop magnet, and I can only imagine how loud the 70mm is. I like it loud, but the cops don't. The normal Skunk2 with a gutted airbox and shorty header will set off some car alarms, especially without the silencer.

i have comptech cat-back, it has a nice low rumble in low rpm's and gets pretty loud when opened up but not alot. Plus it looks stock. The only thing is the droning on the freeways. but out of the options on the poll, i would go for hks, sounds good and looks nice too.

Sometimes i think the same thing and going back to stock exhaust.Think how it is for me skunk2 70mm ,testpipe and shorty header.. but i love it and when its turbo charged ill love it even more.

i would choose Tanabe exhaust. the cops can pull me over all they want but i'm still legal, and i love that deep rumble. don't get me wrong i like loud too, i also don't want to be ricey. you know a good exhaust when you see and hear one.
