I going to go ahead and get my tires mounted and see what happens but if you guys can save me some mulla by telling me if they will fit or not I would appreciate it...

Its not the tire thats really the problem.. The rim is 7.5 inches.... Does any one have this size or even bigger installed

I run 225's on mine with no rubbing..........235's will even fit in my opinion. The Offset is the key for 7.5 inch wide rims.....should be 48, 45 might work?

How close is your tire to the strut housing the rear???

with the car jacked up about a centimeter, with it down much more, not sure exactly, 3-4 centimeters.

225/35/18 is the same size overall as our 195/60/15, so speedo. will not be affected. But I bet the wheels and tires are heavier than stock, so that will affect acceleration.

I AM TALKING ABOUT THE WIDTH, NOT THE HEIGTH. I'M SAYING IT MAY BE TO WIDE AND WILL RUB

well you confirmed it then. I was wrong. Yeah, offset does the trick for wide tires like that. I'm impressed we have that much room

got the tires mounted, will pick them up tomorrow... as soon as my service department clears out I'll put them on and see what happens... worst case senerio I think I'll have to get a 5mm wheel spacer...

Thanks for the help tho yall gave me the confidence to go ahead and see...
