The drop is perfect, IMO. The ride is 200% better than my stock blown shocks and H&R Sport Springs. Ride is firm and not too bouncy. The front struts have a progressive wound spring that soaks up minor bumps and road imperfections.

The ride quality is much improved right? I love them, cornering at high speeds is much more stable and predictable. The drop is just right too IMO. Go MUGEN!:p

Ok, I'm persuaded. Of course, I've been saying all along that someone was going to product a complete, bolt-on suspension package, and sell a ton of 'em. Your car looks superb.

So, a couple of q's: Where did you get yours, and how much did the package cost?

02TafWhtSi, Did you take your pics before or after you drove the car? I put about 40 miles on mine, then took the pics. I noticed yours looked higher than mine as soon as you posted your pics. Very weird indeed? BTW, I do not have anything in my hatch to cause it to be lower.

Hey Jay, thanks for posting the pics and helping me get that one nasty, frozen, corroded bolt out of the back shock! LOL!

Me too - same price.

Si Nut - I've put about the same mileage on since the install as you but it still looks very similar to right after the drop. VERY strange :o

I just looked at the King Motorsports site. What is included in the EP3 sports suspension kit? From the website, it looks like coil overs and struts. Are anti sway bars included, or are the stock Si bars used? Any other parts included in the Mugen Kit?

Only the strut/spring assemblies and a set of self-locking nuts for the front. Thats all she wrote :)

yeah that is weird....I think both of you are running 215/45/17's right?

You guys did well on buying this mugen setup. Really nice, I wish I had waited and bought these. 02TafWhtSi, no need to answer the question I had about finger gaps, these pics show what I needed to know. Damn, I might buy these and sell mine :D ah, maybe later.

Yes I'm running 215/45/17s and I checked my boxes, both marked 50000-XK2-K0S0 SPORTS SUS KIT (EP3)

Guess we'll have to wait and see when others get theirs installed how much it drops it.....

BTW, these things make the car handle so much better. Car is so much more stable at high speeds. Cornering traction has increased as the new shocks press the tires to the road and quick rebound keeps them planted over uneven terrain. Ride is definitely not for the tame, but none of us are tame right? :D If we were we would be driving stock DXs. (Not that there's anything wrong with that.) ;)

That's phucking interesting, dude. I was an Achiever today, so I played with your two cars in PSP. I think the height difference is mostly in the rear. Here's a pic:

http://www.italycars.net/mtx/2ep3s.jpg

Look where the accent line on the lower body intersects the wheels. It's about the same on the fronts (the center of the wheel hubs), but not the rears.

You're a good man Bob, and thorough. I put my OEM 15s back on for a long trip I'll be taking (a little cushier :) ) and it looks significantly lower in the rear now (and a little more in the front). I think its more of an optical illusion so I'm not really that concerned. It handles like a racecar so who really cares. Lotta ins, lotta outs :D

I helped SI Nutt install his and have followed this thread for a while.

I have one question for those that have it. Why don't you take some measurements? It would be nice to quantify the difference, if there is any.

A fairly easy and quick measurement would tbe the top of the wheel well to the center of the wheel for front and back.

Maybe there isn't a difference. Who knows for sure until there is some measurements to compare.;)

the difference could be due to different wheel/tire size?

How much extra weight u guys have on your car? that could be an issue.

Also, can both of you guys do me a favor and measure from the ground to the jack points? I wanna know how much space there is right there. I don't want my mid-pipe scratching like crazy once I changed my setup.
