1. There are 2 cars. 1 with hondata. both equal drivers, both shift at 6.8k. would it be a tie?

2. Does Shell gas provide better mileage now? Their commercials say it gives better mileage.

based on my personal experience (my Hondata'd EP3 vs. my friend's stock EP3) they are dead even if shifted at 6.8k.

yea but in the 1/4

the hondata guy will shift 3 gears

while the OEM ECU guy shifts 4

thats why our cars have poopie 1/4 times

based on my personal experience (my Hondata'd EP3 vs. my friend's stock EP3) they are dead even if shifted at 6.8k. how is this possible? Hondata lets you tweak your air/fuel tables and the VTEC changeover point... right?

The K20A3-Si program advances the ignition, alters the cam timing and optimizes the fuel for a cold air intake, adding 4-9 ft lb across the rev range.

so basicaly you Get a PRESET fuel map, and ignition timing. :o

If it is true you know that it will be a small amount of gain. Afterall they want you to buy more gas, not less!

since we're talkin gas now..... i only use two gasses, chevron or 76. 76 seems to give me more power while chevron gives me better gas milage. no shit. i have noticed this over years and years.

if hondata earns the car abou 5hp/tq across the range.. shouldn't it beat the non-hondata car even by a little? seems odd that's it dead even shifting at 6.8.
