It seems to be a standard feature on Canadian EP's. I haven't heard of anyone else in the US with DRL. Lucky you...

I am guessing your car is the only USDM spec Si with DRL's
Hey Jim! tell him what he's won!! ....

your vin should tell you which car you have, us or canadian.
the sixth digit from the end (the one after the U) should be a 3 for usa cars and a 6 for canadian cars...

Very interesting... I dunno why that is... Do WRX's and 2.5 RS's have em as well? I dont think i have seen em on any other than my friends 2.5 RS.... they automatically go on when the parking brake is released...

My car came with them optionally installed,I had them turned off
as I didint want that feature. I like to drive with the parking lights
on near dusk.

DRL's are the law of the land in Canada, if I'm not mistaken. I don't have them on my USDM EP, for which I'm glad. I like to have the option to sneak up on people *lol* and to save hours on my headlight life....
do you want to disable them? if so it looks like there is a relay under the dash to the left of the steering column that controls them. you could probably pull it and they'd be disabled.
