What do you mean by "backfiring"?

Well, at low RPM's sometimes it goes "puuuhh"

okay I'm not expert in this matter. But have you tried just making sure all your connections are secure and sealed??

Oh yeah, I'm not a newbie to the import scene, I work on my brother's Integra all of the time and I've never heard anything like an Intake going (puuuuffff)

it happened with the aems too. did you search in the general forum? you might find something there.

edit: here you go. might not really help you though, but just shows you others have had it i guess...

Yeah, well I found out that it's supposed to go away after time, I just haven't had mine that long yet.

You probably did this already, but it might help to reset the ECU (unplugging the battery for about 10 mins).

that sounds like what happens in an RX-7's exhaust...your engine is probably running rich or something and ur having small combustions in ur exhaust.

that doesn't always work :D I know on the 96-00 civics, if you wanted to completely rid the ecu of memory you had to take out the back up fuse.
