How do you know if both passenger/driverside is the same? How do you measure it?

some people count the threads. Some people put each shock/spring setup next too each other while installing them to make sure it's even. It's kind of a guessing game.

When i put the GC's on my car, I found a level concrete pad. Then i used a regular old yard stick to measure from the ground to the bottom lip of the fender. The whole ordeal took me about 1 1/2 hours of adjusting and it still is not perfect.
