How much do you think we could get for our engine?

How much could we get for our K20A3 engine?
I wonder if it would offset 50-60% of the costs of installing either TypeR or TypeS engines...
What are your thoughts?

Well, I think once the re-tuned ECUs are available, an EP K motor with the ECU, and I/H/E will probablt make around 170-175 wheel hp, right around what a 200 horse Type S lays down. Throw in cams, and we're set! Just gotta bide your time for the aftermarket to pick up.

Best part is, all that crap will probably cost less then $1500 US, so you'd still be cheaper then the S.

That being said, I'm still holding out for a "real" north american Type R, and I'm gonna keep my eyes on our suppliers, and see if anyone gets a JDM ITR 220 horsepower K package in...

As for what our K motor is worth? Uhhh... Hmmmm.... Good question. Without any real market for them yet, it's hard to say. Probably something between $2000-$3000 US?

i was wondering the same thing, because i found a crashed type s localy.
