miles after gas light

im curious on everyone elses opinion on how far an EP will go after the light comes on...i have been around 32 miles after the light and i was scared to go any further than that....

my light will go on after bout 10 gallons so theres still 3 gallons left. You can go easily 60+ miles after that.

Im always scared shitless whenever i see that is it on... OMG! HOW LONG HAS THAT BEEN ON FOR!? blah blah, i find the nearest station no matter what the price... haha, i normally fill up at just under 10 gallons used

i get anxious to put gas as soon as possible
AND gas light isnt really bright enough to see during day.

dont know about you guys but sometimes the gas is at different levels when that light comes on.....but i have gone about 40 miles with the light on, i dont go further than that, too scared to run out.

I think that is the general consenus. Walking down the hwy with those red gas cans isn't a really cool thing to do.

Usually light comes on with three gal. left in the tank. I've pushed it, but usually when it lands on E I make sure I get gas. Ave 20 miles to the gallon, shifting under 4k. Mixed city and Hwy.

ive gone from LA to Orange County on the yellow light. Thats about 50 miles.

Our car has a 13 gallon tank....the light comes on when there are 3 gallons of gas left. You should be able to do about 75-90 miles when the gas light comes on.

Oh yeah reguarding gas mileage....I do get better gas mileage with cheaper gas. The EP SUCKS down the premium gas like a HOG.

Yesteday when I did my first road trip with my SI my gas light came on and I drove about 20 miles and then did a fill up. Well to my surprise I only added 8.5 gallons to the tank. I found out under my normal driving I have 3 left when the gas light comes on. So I am guessing the computer and gadge do a little calcutation by every day driving too. I do have to say one the way down on my trip I was able to hook up with a back of BMWs and Vovlos that wanted to open their cars up and for about 15-20 miles I was crusing at a nice over 100mph and the car handled great. I could tell there were some guys to happy to see a Honda mixed in with them though but I had fun.

I sure am happy that I got an EP....I just wish I wouldn't have gotten silver.

I think I would be happier with white.

White is the only way to go. I like the vivid blue pearl on the 03's but it wasent out in 02.

I really dont like it when mu gas is low because for some reason you know that if you have 2/3 or empty tank and you race or drive the car is sappose to be faster right? well for my car once it get to 2/3 at the bottom it tend to get slower. once the tank is fill up to half or full i could feel more power. b4 when my gas light went on i've drove for 70 miles because there wasnt a gas station out in the mountain area. I was scared as hell so one i'd found a gas station, filled that shit up to full =)
