Bad review for Spoilersdepot.com

Got the Type-R replica wing from spoilersdepot.com, nice paint job. But their workmanship sucks royally, direct fit my ass.

Passenger side

that sucks for the wing, i would give them a call see whats up...dont hate on them yet, they might beable to help you out...

and whats up with the hood from showstoppers? is it messed up, if you dont like it, or it doenst fit right...i am sure you could speak with chuck or rocky, they are always looking to keep an EPHATCHer happy....

wow, mine fits better than that. mine is not exactly flush but closer than yours.

btw - i didn't use their weatherstrip, i used some of my own... theirs looked too cheap.

Did you cut out some of the hard ass plastic that holds the back window in place?? I bought one used off a fellow EPhatch member (thx Jester) and he gave me some instructions from his original Honda spoiler and it said to cut out the black plastic that was sticking out. Take off your spoiler and have a quick look, it may solve your issues.


As for the weather stripping, I think I have to redo mine too because I am afraid all the salt is going get in there and rust my car fromt he inside out.

bioevolve - althought the instructions don't say to remove the factory velcro stuff from the window under the stock spoiler, i did. maybe that would help yours fit a bit better. just a thought...

I did remove that and the rubber hole seals. It's just poor accuracy on the manufacuer.

Ok, UPS came picked up the RMA'ed wing on 20th, spoilersdepot.com got it on the 21st(12pm ish) It's the 22th noon time and they still haven't looked at it to verify that is a defect. These people seem to think their customers are not important enough. :mad: The said they are going thru all their returned merchandise :o They must be swamped with returns, hmmmmm that doesn't sound to good for that business.


Just got off the phone with them, they said call them back Tuesday and they will give me an answer. Bastards!:mad:

Ok, 7 days later! They finally got to inspect the wing. I called them like 10 times on it, crappy service! Now they are saying give them 2-3 and they will send out a new one:rolleyes: maybe sometime next week I will get a new one or probably get a my old one back fixed. They just freaking suck.

I guess they don't know that liquid foam when it hits the air I expands and expands and expands, looks like this one wasn't finished expanding when they packaged it.

Looks like they had a hard time redoing the wire or just a hot tempered employee.

It's same wing I sent back to them, they sanded the thickness on one side and repainted. Guess they didn't want to loose any money to send me a new one, they just tried to fix the defective one. Bastards!

dude, file that shit with the BBB... go to www.bbb.com and file that shit, you got all proof of 2 fuk ups....get them reported, send that shit back to them, make them pay you back for the shippin....they will send you a brand new one perfect for damn near free hoping you take that file off the BBB.com no company wants their shit filed with the bbb....

Put the wing on again, It fit better than it did before but still 1/8th of an inch high off the hatch. Guess that is as good as it is gonna get from that company.:(
