The only thing is that Honda probably won't use those words, since there really isn't a GTi "class" over here (and no one would know what it is) in North America. Using GTI would mean a direct assault on VW. Would cautious Honda want to do that? :o

From my understanding it's real. I found it on the web as a PDF file originally. The imbedded authoring info said Honda and was dated 2003 as the copyright... Guess it could still be a fake tho....

Is real, it was on last year's copy of F1 magazine'a back cover. I have the hard copy of this ad. And the fine print are actually refer to Pegont's 206 GTi (if I am right). cause in Europe, advertise are actually allow to make fun on other manifactures (seriously).

Honda would (and has) directly assaulted other manufacturers, remember the ad where the Si blew the doors off of the spec-v and VW GTi?

I don't believe the term 'GTi' is aimed towards any particular car, there's an assload of "GTi's" in Europe.
