View Full Version : Do 15"s look too small on EPs?

I'm thinking of doing a 1.5" drop on my car, and I've been looking at 15" wheels. Would that look alright? Should I get a smaller and wider tire? I don't want to sacrifice any ride quality and I want to be able to afford to fix a tire if it messes up.

Anyone running a similar setup?

Agree 100%, saw stockies on a slammed EP a few days ago, i really liked the way they looked...1.5 drop...

now the other night i saw a slammed ep with like a 2.5 drop on stockies, it looked SOOO ghetto, but thats my .02

i think it's 1.8"...
my tires are 205/55/15 so they're shorter than they should be, normally the car would have less gap...

15's dont look toooo bad. I had LS rims on my car with 45 series tires. If I could post a pic I would. I reccomend not to get 45 series tires, just look too skinny.

I don't think they look all that bad. I'd still like to get 16s or 17s down the road. Heres a pic of my ride on stockies:

I thought they looked small when I first got the car...but after going to a meet where everyone was droped on stock wheels they looked really good...it's an opinion thing. Plus, if you get a perfect drop(just the right size), they'll look great.

Pictures like these make me want an EP3. ;)

Paxie and Silver EP, what did you use to get your drop?

Aftermarket 15's will definitely look small. The stocks look a bit small too, but work with the factory height as well as with a drop. Just get good tires for the factory wheels if you want 15's.

My order of preference in sizes in order from favorite to least favorite (looks only):

1. 16"
2. 17" and 15" tied
3. 18"+

Just my opinion though, and it depends on the specific wheels, tires, and drop.

I got 17s and they didn't fill my gap at all. The outside diameter of the tire is the same as the stock tires so how can they fill it? I guess they are wider so that looks like it's filled a little but. I think the 15's do look way to small for an Si though.
