USA = Si (Is this the same as our Type S, with a 2.0 160bhp engine?)
JDM = JDM Type R, 217bhp
UK = Type R, 197 bhp.

Incidently we have generally noticed as engines loosen up they are producing around 206+bhp in standard tune. :)

It sounds like your "Type S" is very similar to our "Si and SiR". Our Acura RSX (Honda Integra) has both the 2.0L 160 hp AND 2.0L 200 hp K-series engines. The 200hp version is called the "RSX Type-S". Confusing huh? The Civic Type-R is very coveted over here by the way... :p

In Malaysia, JDM and UK specs are available. I bought the CTR JDM specs. Test drove both models and the JDM wins handsdown. 215 for JDM against 197 UK makes a world of difference. JDM spec can maintain half bumper trail with my friends JDM DC5. Also, trim is slightly different. UK spec has a fender signal lamp. JDM doesn't. Plus, all black glass.Nice.
