I found the carbon fibre hatch that somone on here has if anybody is interested. http://www.importfan.com/product.asp?0=0&1=0&3=4885 its like $799 though. but there it is. Later.

is it for the whole actually hatch door? if so.. 800's not that bad.. considering people pa like 400-500 for a stinking hood.. it looks pretty sweet tho.

stick on? the whole hatch is carbon fibre. double sided means that both sides of the hatch are carbon fibre not just the outstide.

well a stock hatch costs more than this so if anyone ever gets rear ended. this might be the way to go

OK all. Lets stop dissing this. First off if anyone is interested in getting one for a hundreds cheaper and better quality with a braile light weight glass pm me. Its thru a company called braille and they make light weight production parts, hoods, etc and they are pricey but the quality is top notch. they have different stages and right now they are still trying to develop the carbon hatch. Now if you send in your stock rear hatch glass, not the hatch itself, in return they will send you a lightweight piece which weighs much less = faster car. After this they will give you around $300 off or more for the carbon hatch and any other products bought will be discounted. The only reason I have not done this yet is because of my sounds system. i am afraid that the bass may crack the carbon. I have no idea how tough it is so i may still get it but if anyone has interest feel free to pm me and i can give u links, info and more. thanks, dave

well my friends i jsut got a price from jdmparts.com for 450 on the carbon fiber hatch shaw hillier got it on his ep3 and i have to say this guy has one of the sweetest ep3 west/east coast alike from type oem type calipers to the type r kit original mugen parts this guys car is sick....

carbon fiber does crack its on of the tough material you can put on your car..if you look at the movie in the fiber image site they got a guy running a carbon fiber hood over with a car and the thing dont even warp they dropping rims on it from like 10 feet in the air they even got a itr the flipped like five times and the only thing in place and not messed up was the cf hood ....i jsut love carbon fiber
