Anyone hear anything new about the ep3 with the element awd drivetrain and the K24 swap? Or does this belong in rumors?

hmm, are you talking about the J.A.S. Engineering EP? They have a rally one, I dunno what kind of drivetrain or motor its running though.

suprised they have the type r bodykit on it and not our stock body. ours is more for a rally car cause its not all low to the ground.

No, The rumor i heard was that it was directly from Honda. That looks nice though.

For honda to make a rally car with k20a2 motor and awd would make no sense whatsoever because to race in Group A.2 "WRC'' or prorally the car has to be homologized, more than 5,000 built with the same engine/drivetrain. and since there are no K20a2 AWD ep's running around they would have to enter an open class and get there asses whooped

I didnt know the WRC cars had to be homologized in a AWD form? I thought the particular base model had to be homologized.

That car is definitely not at rally height.

IMO that car won't be AWD and won't have any mods because it is a Group N car.

basically only suspension and stiffening mods. even intake has a restricted size in order to race in Gr N

Ah, just noticed the Gr N. sticker on the side. It should do OK in that class. I wonder if they allow a LSD?

I said k24 not k20. I guess your right classes would restrict a lot. Obviously theres no awd si's or civic type Rs running around.

I'm not an expert but I heard the element had a closer wheelbase.I could be wrong. I wish more people would look at this thread so that we can get more feedback.
