How are you liking your Mugen sport suspension now that you've had them a few weeks? Are you glad you got it? Would you have gotten something else? Any regrets?

For the most part I'm thrilled with them. For more detail see here (mine) (http://ephatch.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=19019)
and here (Si Nutt's) (http://ephatch.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=18950)

Hi there O2TAF !!!

So for the most part you are very happy with the Mugens . Do you have any issues , concerns etc with this setup . Any noise issues at all .

What would you have Mugen do different ?

Do you have your alignment specs? I'm curious what the camber is after you had the toe set.

One more question, 02TafWhtSi: Have you driven on the Mugens with your stock wheels? If so, was the ride less choppy?

I actaully sold my 17's recently to free up some cash for school so yes, I'm on the stock 15's with upgraded Yoko Avid tires. It feels noticeable smoother and less harsh with the 15's so they're gonna stay on at least through the winter :) .
I'll finally be getting my alignment done either Thurs or Fri of this week so I'll be sure to post the readouts. It'll be done with the SPC rear camber kit. PM Si Nutt - he already has a readout of his alignment.

No noises, no mechanical issues whatsoever. They installed VERY easily without issue. My only real concern is that I won't be able to use even half of their potential on a daily basis - I need to set up some track time BADLY. They are VERY stiff compared to stock but compared to other stups I've driven in they aren't bad at all for everyday. It just takes a week or so to get used to the ride and then you'll love them! ;)
PM me with any more ?'s :)

so would you say they are worth getting over some teins?

its really up to you. just remember with mugen suspension. you can not adjust height unlike tein ss/basic/flex
if you are happy with 1.4 drop all around, mugen would be good choice as well as tein.

I'll try and get some for you on friday. I'll be re-torqing (is that a word? :o ) my SPC camber kit which will give me better angles for the pics :)

I have another question. Whats the warranty on those? If you blow a shock in six months are you SOL or will King warranty them or what? Very curious....

Cool, thanks :) That rules out the Mugen kit for me as I plan on having the car for a long time. Oh well :(

This is probably a dumb question, but I honestly would like to know. What do you do if a shock or a strut somehow gets blown or goes out? Can you obtain just the 1 corner that goes out, or do you have to buy a whole new setup?

For the most part I am very happy with the mugens. When I go to the track or autoX I love them, when I am driving on a cold winter morning on uneven cement, I love them less. They can be quite "chattery" over uneven cement and pot holes.

I sometimes wish they were adjustable, but not enough to regret the purchase.
