does anyone use this oil, if so how would you rate it, i've only got 500 miles on my si and i would like to use synthetic, but mobil one does not make 5w-20

I have amsoil, and it works really good compared to regular oil. Thats the only synthetic i used sofar. the oil doesnt 3urn down as fast, as i have compared.

Keep the oil thats in it until the first oil change. After that you can use 5w-20 Royal Purple or anything synthetic.

BTW: I just got back from a couple hour drive, with the synthetic I actually got better gas mileage, by a few MPG on the highway. Not too bad :cool:

Amsoil is a good oil, it usually tests pretty good among other oils. But Mobil1 does make a 0w-20 oil which will work fine in your engine, it seems to be very well made, definitely worth using as well.
