Painted stock rims

I just painted my rims black with a wheel paint. should I get a clear coat and paint over it to protect it? I need some help.

I wouldn't cover the rims with a clear coat. why? Cuz the sheen will show the imperfections. And once damage/scratched with a clear coat on the rim, it's harder to do touch up without it showing. So....my thought is.... go without it.

just leave and see what happends. ive seen enough people who painted themselves and chips out so easily. the best way would be get professiionally powdercoated

Thanks for all ur suggestions.
I am riding on R/H evolution S7 (18") with parada spec II tires right now. The stockies, I am gonna use that for the winter because of the all season tire. I got a White EP so I hate silver rims, black or white or bronze only. I am waiting to order my comptech ice box intake and HKS exhaust right now and after that I will post up some picture on the member forums.
