i'm planning on getting 16 inch rims. what offset should i get? i want to be able to drop my car pretty low in the future, which size is best? and what is the stock wheel's offset?
i was told by my wheel shop i go to, the offset is the same as all other civics around 40mm. i have no idae what the stock wheels are

cool thanks. so 40 is good for a little tuck and hopefully no rubbing?
im pretty sure my wheels have a 40 offset and i have no problems with the drop. i also have 17s not 16s, but im not too sure if that realy matters. if you want to see the way the wheels fit. my friend just posted some good pics in the general catagory onder xlr8's car

looks good. i like your car. i can't wait to get rims. do you have shocks yet? i was wondering how long the stock struts would hold. i've had my car dropped for over a month now and when i hit potholes... damn, they suck.
ive had my car lower for 2000 miles on the stock shocks and it feels better then factory height with the stock wheels. i think alot of that has to do with how light my wheels are. i was told by the shop that lowered my car aftermarket shocks wouldnt be needed, since we have a factory performance suspension

How low did you lower it, and did you put a camber kit on it?
Thanks
