its definitely from your cat. i get it too sometimes... use higher octane gas and it goes away.

This was a hot topic when the EPs first came out. It's very normal, and will go away in time.

I have an '03 with 8,000 miles and I've noticed the same thing. The other day when I was going up a freeway onramp I could smell that "rotten egg" smell.
When I use 91 octane instead of 87 it doesn't make that smell. I'm just glad it's nothing to be alarmed about.

I remember that for a while a lot of my friends were saying that sometimes my car would smell like oysters...
Not really sure if it's from the same thing you're talking about or maybe it just came from the trip to the beach :o

Ah, i had no idea that higher octane would get rid of it... I have 4924 miles on my car and i am still getting the smell... good to know that it will eventually go away, I dunno if my girlfriend believes me eveytime I blame it on the car... ;)

Some of our K-Series brothers/sisters also have the same problem.

IIRC, this guy changed gas and the smell dissapated.
