hey whaddup everyone. I see that on this forum, than when you install something NEW, you post and give your 2 cents. SO, that is what i'll do!!! Today, i got install the "hyper ground systems" grounding wires. You know the ones that say on the advertisment..."know on the JDM as HOTEARTH" anyhow....i can notice the difference right from the get go. NO joke, like it says, it improves THROTTLE response, iT DO~ as for everything else, too soon to tell. I dunno how GAS MILEAGE but i'll be sure to let y'all know. I think its a good investment so far and it looks clean in the engine bay tOo~

DON'T SETTLE FOR THE IMITATION STUFF.

same thing a 6sp shift knob does on a 5sp car.

im pretty sure it just makes things smoother, and in doing so adds some power somewhere...iuno

by grounding out the cars electrical system, it helps the sparkplugs fire, and removes some assorted electromagnetic interference from the motor. most of the power is simply from the sparkers firing better. try it with a higher octane gas for some REAL fun.

it makes that much of a difference? you can feel it?

ive heard between 5-15 hp gains, but id expect prolly 5 hp, and matching tq in the low range. all it really does is picks up stray voltage that works against your cars functioning. im looking into this more right now, cuz im sure that wire quality could be a factor. but theres a gain.

5-15? sounds unreal.. even 5 sounds unreal. im thiking more of 1-2hp?

yea...its actually 1-2

How do you measure a 1-2 hp increase if dyno's have a + - 1-2hp variance in their accuracy

all the wires do is equalize the ground reference across all points. basically eliminates floating grounds, if any.

at least they look nice

well its good for ur car. and at around 50$.. it beats even the midpipe for cheapness for effect.

really? you think wires are better than midpipe. i might have to give them a try. i wonder if name brand and wire quality matters a lot.. imma try to get wires from Happies... he seems nice.

Hondata sells ground wires, i already have the hondata flash and the hondat heatsheild gasket! maby i should get the ground wires too???? i didnt think it would do any thing but i got some money to spend, so i guess i'll get this ground wire stuff and see what it does!!!!!!!!

LET US KNOW HOW IT WORKS!! hahaha... cuz ive only heard stories about groundwires, and the theory seems believable.. but idk how good they are.

THe theory seems unbeleveable but they do work, and you have to try them for youself to really believe. i was very skeptical until i started to make my own kits. check out k series . com they have an install on my kit. =)

the wires do more than a shift knob. =)

i sell them for 40.00 shipped.

Import Tuner used ground wires on a 240. They initially lost power with their initial install. They moved around the grounding points and gained (IIRC) 2-3 HP.

I guess the lesson learned is you can loose or gain depending on where you install the wires.

That's one of the reasons why I haven't gotten wires yet. Most of the kits out there are generic and do not say where to put them on the EP. So if you install them in a funked up place you have the potential to actually loose power.

Anybody actually dyno the effect of grounding wires on the EP? And if so where did they hook the wires?

i believe 02blksi mounted in the pulley, intake manifold, and valve cover and gained 1-2whp i think. he has a dyno chart to prove it. go check it out.
