Anyone who has Tein S-Tech springs...

Just got my Tien S-Techs in today. What is the brown plastic cover that is on one end of each spring there for? I know on some other lowering springs one end usually has a rubber covering, but on the tiens, it is just a piece of plastic.

this is what i think. the brown plastic thing is to protect the spring/green plastic that is covering the spring. it is needed because the fricition from the spring moving will wear down the plastic in that area.

Hmm, wonder why it is only on one end then.

i saw other tein springs have em on both sides. but mine only came with only one side also.
