The hood fits great! Gaps are a little bigger the stock but you can only tell if your anal like me.:D

The grill is the Mugen grill and it was purchased at Island Motorsports. If you are interested give them a call and ask for Jimmy. (714) 522-7457. I believe they are selling them for $235.

I don't really like the vents in the hood, but to each his own. One question though...I'm not trying to piss you off or be a jerk, but how come you went with original stuff for all your other mods but "skimped" on the hood and got a replica?

I see that you have Recaros, Mugen grill and a Mugen wing. Why didn't you stay authentic?

I could understand if you said you didn't have enough money for a real Mugen hood, but you did for a real Mugen wing and those Recaros:D

I just couldn't justify spending $1680.00 for a REAL Mugen hood when the replica is a fourth of that price and the only difference is the name and quality of the carbon fiber.

They problay work a little for venting the hot air from the engine bay, but to be honest I don't think mugen_ep has the engine mods yet . :angel:

The vents are closed but it is possible to make them functional.

Pax is right though, with only an AEM CAI I dont need to vent much heat from under the hood.

When the turbo comes then I will open the vents to help disperse heat.

They are stainless steel and not removable but they can be painted.

Thanks maybe I would not need a paint because the stainless might go good with my Silver. I want a CF hood and wing so bad but my check book keeps on telling me NO. :(
