Looking to get some rims for my girl friend's Civic Ex.

Why buy it for her? ah..... I dunno why I am buying one for her and not saving the money for my own car, heheh.

Without...even though I have gunmetal/polished lip rims myself. I had to settle for it though because my rims didn't come in all gunmetal.

I personally would go without with the polished lip. But, it's a little bling, so maybe a girl would appreciate it. Depends on the girl, of course.

Yes, I'm being sexist.

Polished is not bling IMO. Check out my car/wheel pics. :)

I said "a little bling". It's not like having chrome spinner wheels, but it's a little more bling than not having a polished lip.

Thank you Hondaman for posting up some pics of your car. I finally see the true color of Gunmetal. I thought it would be darker, but now.... even better. Just the color I wanted. I've seen those color rims on other cars, but I thought they where HyperBlack. I was wrong I guess. My girl wanted em color rims, and I thought it was HyperBlack, but then I said go with Gunmetal, it's darker and better.

Anyone got a gunmetal rim (without polished lip) with a really good picture like the one above to post for me? Need something to compare it with.

A polished lip makes the wheel look smaller, it gives that effect off. I have hypersilver w/ polish myself and I am thinking about painting or powder coating them bronze.

Too bad my wheels didnt come all one color...

okay, thx for the help guys/girls. i think i'll go with......."out" a lip. Why? Cuz everyone wants a lip more, so i guess people having lips will be more common. i want to be weird and uncommon.

to be honest, with a lip does look better.

yea 17's are a bit too heavy and a bit on the -1' inch too big- side.
