You don't even understand, I must have camped out for an hour around this thing...praying the owner would come by...I just wanted to hear what it sounded like and ask a few questions about it.......

Also I can't see where the Intake or air-box would be placed, I looked all over for it. I kind of want to keep my stock air-box in place for that ultra o.e.m. appearance.....

Props on the Black roof, looks sweet!!! I'm wondering how such a setup might look on my silver ep in tandem with a c/f hood??? Also I love your tint, the front lip & wheels. I saw another ep at the races too, it was white, looked all stock, but had chrome wheels, I never got close enough to really get a good look though, but I really wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed your ride, my dad even gave your car props & he hates my ep.

I lent the Civic to Honda Tuning for the weekend. The used it for the Trek 2 Sonoma. Bob Hernandez was driving it, I wasn't there.

I really liked your car....

This might be rehtoricle, but...... is that car a freaking riot to drive or what....I mean please give details.... Is your torque curve bottomless??? does it pull all the way to the fuel-cut...??

Do you still get resonable MPG?

What kind of sound does the blower make? and can you hear it all the time.....???

Does the front end feel heftier with the S/C in place, I mean it probably feels about as heavy as a car with a V6 in there....

I'm just trying to feel the JR supercharger out, really thinking about doing it.

At first I thought you were joking, then I read you sig, where you have the Hasport web site.

Hey I just got to ask, did that car used to be black? I noticed the radiator core support still has black paint on it. I really like the yellow to bad they don't make a yellow Ep3, my choice would have been 2002 Honda S2000 spa yellow.

Sorry my family owns a three autobody repair shops in Sacramento, so I notice things that most people don't about bodywork & paint.

All and all I really enjoyed your Ep3, can't wait to hear your review on the S/C;) :)

It's funny, even with my signature, I don't think people always take my comments seriously.

The car is a hoot to drive, it has over 200 ft/lbs of torque starting around 2500 rpm up to redline at 7600 rpm. Peak HP varies with ambient temp and ranges from 250 to 280. It will break the wheels loose just by punching the gas in second gear.

The car gets great gas mileage as long as you keep you foot out of it. But at track events when your on the gas all the time it consumes more fuel than our Dodge Ram Dually V10 truck.

The blower is pretty quiet unless you rev up, there is a nice whine at higher rpms. And as for the weight, it's not significant. You would have to be a very experienced driver to even notice.

I can't reccomend the blower enough, although that is not the only mod to the drive train. As you may know, we have RSX tranny with type R LSD, Type S head with Type R cams and K24 bottom end.

The car was originally black, it was the first one sold in Arizona. We left the engine compartment black because it made a better contrast with our brightly finished aluminum engine mounts.

Sport Compact Car said they wanted to do a shoot out with one that had an K20A2 engine swap against a stock RSX Type S and stock Civic Si, so we bought one and did the swap. Then they said that if we paint it yellow, they would put it on the cover of the magazine. So we did.

It's because I lent it to Honda Tuning Magazine and they have been passing it around between some of the editors.

Is the k24 bottom end stock though? No piston upgrades or anything?

That particular bottom end is a stock CRV K24.

I have a built one waiting 'til after SEMA with AEBS sleeves, JE pistons, Pauter rods and 11.0:1 compression.
