DIY Dash or Carbon bifer overlays?

What should i do? Paint my center console or get carbon fiber overlays? Is there a DIY for painting the cansole?

lol...i personally done like carbon fiber...so i would paint it a brushed aluminum color. anything else is overkill or just plain ol bad taste

i think another member painted theirs red to match the plastic in the seats. i wanted to do some thing similar to that.

yes you should paint ur console red.. btw, that guy got flamed for doing that. that is super tacky and looks bad. esp when u have a vbp car.

If you are going to get it painted, do not DIY. Spend the money and have a body shop do it, it will come out shiney and professional looking and hold up.

However, I do like the way Carbon Fiber looks on the dash. Check it out, grey/black or red/black :
