There's a huge hurricane headed for the east coast, it keeps going back and forth between a category 5 and cat 4; this is a monster.

I don't have a garage. I have tried to take care of my black hatch, but it is no match for 160 mph winds. Will our Eps survive the hurricane? I don't think insurance will even cover weather damage to our cars will they?

I hate when people do this. Forecasts are like snotlockers, everyone's got one. Proven, forecasts are 90% inacurate. Anything can happen between now and 4-5 days from now so lets just sit patiently and wait...

your best bet would be to find a BIG parking garage for like a hospital or something and leave the ep there a day before the storm hits.

dude, you live in newport news, thats plenty inland. they aren't even sure where the storm will hit, and it will more than likely decrease in intensity as it approaches shore. i think only the houses along the beach would have to worry because they would have it the worst. newport news is far enough inland to not have to worry so much.

You could park it in my garage, it will be safe there ;)....j/k.

I hope everything goes well for you and nothing happens to your EP.

From living in Louisiana all I can say is I hope you have good insurance. Last year when hurricane Lilly came through here it blew 18 wheelers over that were on I-10 so I can only imagine what it would have done to my ep.

that shit is MASSIVE! im not taking any chances, plus its been rainin here so the ground is wet, i have alot of pine trees around my house and since the ground is really wet not even 100 mile winds are needed to knock over these big ass trees, and even so, better to be safe than sorry, if nothin happens ill just go get my car the next morning

Park it away from trees and telephone poles and put a car cover it and chain it to something really reliable and heavy, if you can't find a parking garage.

Here is what you do.. Load the car up with salt... If the hurricane tossed the egg around, at least you'll know it'll be floating somewhere... ;) At least I know my blew egg will be fine in Florida.. Hahahah...

Obviously, not many of you live in areas that experience hurricanes. This one is supposedly like 300 miles wide out from the eye. Word is it's supposed to be worse than Andrew.

i usually park out on the driveway
and i have been meaning to clean out the garage

last week i did that
so the 00 civic ex and the 03 crV with feel the brunt while the 02 si sits dry in the garage:cool:

I hope that storm breaks up over the ocean. It looks like it's the size of Florida!

Good luck East Coast!!!!

Calm down peeps, this thing has been downgraded to a Cat 3. Now it's just East Coast Surfing season!!

Soon as it makes landfall, it will die even faster. I am expecting an all day thunderstorm, pretty much it.
