I think the headlamps and tails are asinine. The side sills are great, I actually like them better than the

I guess all the hype about o.e. fog lamps and led side markers in the mirror housings were all B/S. Looks like the good old U.S. got shafted again........

I like the side skirts. The wheels aren't bad, if they were four lug I would get them, but not worth a 5 lug conversion AT ALL. Is it just me or does the new headlights with old bumper look like crap, although I will wait for my final thoughs when more pics are released.

Yeah definitely not impressive to me. I'm glad I got my 02 - before they molested it like the 04 looks.

not bad... not bad at all.. i like the side sills there.. wonder if it can be slapped onto my 03.. I wonder if the taillights are clear like in the HFP pictures earlier. I dunno about the headlights though.. I like the headlights on mine better. And the wheels, they're alright..

Thats pretty bad, seems like the US is getting base Euro specs. Only the higher specs has the indicator mirrors and 3 spot projector lamps rather than 2 :( Theres rumours now that the CTR might even get HID's.

Despite rumors of bigger changes that appears to have been dispelled by a recent 'official' photo, and regardless of my reserves on the wheels/headlamps of the 04, I am very glad to welcome yet another year............another year to recruit more into the family, and a 25-33% increase (dependent upon the number of production - maybe someone here knows? I'd like to know what they are for all 3 years) which translates into a 25-33% increase of likelihood for MORE aftermarkets parts or an increase in volume of parts.

The bad part is.....the SI is not yet gone and our flying doorstops are going to have to wait for its period of extinction prior to an increase in resale price that would pay the proper respect to the heritage of the SI.

Enough of my shitz, I welcome the 04s and somehow suddenly feel closer to owners of the 02s :o

I pretty much have the same optimism with the subject. Basically, as you stated it will give us a much better availability and range of aftermarket product. We shall see.......

I wonder what size brakes are under the five lug? Might make switching to rsx type s or bolting on integra type r brakes easier. I bet you can source the CTR brakes and bolt the calipers right on to that.

That would e some JDM goodness for all the JDM'ers:eek:

About the wheels, I don't think people really care whether or not they look good because the important thing is that it's got 5 lugs. I imagine a lotta people aren't gonna stick with stock wheels anyhow.

It's not THAAAAAAAAT bad. :D
I've always wanted 5 lug to throw on the older JDM DC2 ITR wheels though.. or even the EP3 CTR's. I hope they didn't upgrade the brakes or anything, or else that wouldn't be cool at all. :(

i think i'll pick up those side skirts if they come at a decent price. (my guess would be 2 or 3 bills for a set)... i wanted the ctr side skirts, but it'd be pointless without the rest of the kit... i'm glad honda made a simple, yet clean looking side skirt for our cars.

Works for me, but I was hoping Honda would opt for a 4-bolt alloy wheel. Changing hubs just to swap to a set of 16" alloys would be damn expensive.

Is that suppost to be the new Honda Si for 2004? They said in the article I posted that nothing would change. I guess we all have to wait until the actual car hits the streets... :D

the headlights ruined it. im feeling the sideskirts, but not the wheels but i cant believe theyd accentuate our cars natural egginess, by including ovoid headlights. and i really am not feeling the other civics in 04.

however. if this car is as ugly as it looks like, then im glad i got an 03. maybe there will be mass love for the o2 o3

I like it. I dunno how I missed this thread. I hope they make those wheels 4-lug. It seems strange that they'd switch to 5-lug with basically the same vehicle.
