Man I am so ticked off.... I got rid of my Drag 18" gunmetal wheels that came on my car new last year because I blew one out on a storm drain last winter. Well since then I have purchased a set of 6-spoke Honda Accessory wheels then shod them with a set of (very cheap) Pirelli 4000 $47 ea. My Pirellis are a 205 / 55/ 15 and wouldn't you know it, today while rounding a corner, I blew one of these..... I was really hoping that the tire wouldn't be repairable, because I hate the tires to begin with, and I'm already ready to replace them with Falken Azenis or Dunlop Sp9ks. Anyway the tire shop repaired my tire for an 6-pack of Budweiser and I was on my way. I'm just pissed because before I could safely pull over to stop my car on the side of the road, I had to drive on the flat for about 10 yards:mad:  unfortunately those approx 10 yards was enough to fugg my wheel up.

Now I'm tossed with either getting new wheels altogether, or just buying a new wheel, for $150 then getting my now curbed wheel fixed for about $60 and using it as a spare/ rotation.

BTW I am one of the few that actually love 15"s but if I had to get new wheels I would not be spending $$$ on another set of 15"s I would be looking at BBS 17"s or SSR Competitions.

Sorry to if I

Sorry, guys... I'm just really weird, I am almost cool when I have a little dent on my car, like on the door or something.....you know, but man I trip when a wheel gets scratched or curbed, I don't know what it is about wheels.....

Like some idiot, hit the RT front corner of my bumper about two months ago, left a gash about 6" long and 1" wide, with bare black plastic contrasting against the beautiful satin silver, well I've almost completely forgotten about it, I will fix it soon, but I don't really care much about it. But my wheel.......!!!! there not even cool wheels, but I feel like I want to get it fixed right now!!

Sorry to hear what happened man :(

I had a bad experiance with a loner tire I got from discount tire. You see I had to cruise to another location to pick up a tire they didnt have.

Anyways I found out once I got there that I had driven like 5 miles on what looked like a totally flat tire. :o It must of went flat right after they put it on. I noticed the pull I just thought it was because it was the wrong tire or something.LOL I dont know how the wheel didnt get screwed up. Those OEM wheels are damn tough.

They ended up giving me a good discount on the tire for their screwup.

Good lookin out.... I will think about that. I think BBS wheel would be nice, I've always wanted to own a nice car with some BBS wheels, I got close with the Jetta, then pussed out and went with 17" o.e.m. GTi wheels. Also I've yet to see a Honda product with BBS wheels....I take that back, I saw an RSX-S once on RC's but never anything else. Tirerack offers about three BBS options in a 4x100 configuration. If I had it my way, and a bottomless checkbook, my Ep would be sporting one of the following...

It's not so much the distance the wheel traveled that ruined the wheel, it's that I had to steer for a moment not knowing the tire had jumped the bead.
