I need help with Fan knobs for A/C

Hi,

I just got my stereo stolen last month and I need to get a new AC control. I got the control box and I have my old knobs. however when I tried to attach the knobs to the new control box, it seems like they are not perfectly fit. It is loose, it will fall of if I let it go.

So if you could, please go inside your EP, pull out one of the knobs, and take pictures the back side of the knob and the control box. please, I am just wondering if I am missing something.

Yeah you're missing these small D shaped washers that were inside the knobs. I don't know if they're a part of the fan switches themselves, or if they're a part of the knob.

^ yea i think he's right, they're like thin metal shims that are in the knob to keep it all tight

I knew it ... I ordered a new control box, and I am not getting those washers, I think they go with the knobs. D*** I need to get new knobs then.
