OK couple of quick questions!

First off does the Hondata really make a difference in the power of the car I put a new AEM Intake on mt 03EP and it sounds cool as hell but I can't feel a difference. If you can feel a diff how much??

Second Rockep let me understand this you have a revhard kit and hondata I was under the impression u couldn't have the flash with FI

Third Rockep how much did the revhard hit cost u all together install the whole nine I am looking at all the kits trying to decided and save a much as I can I am looking to get a turbo if I save real hard in like a year. How do u like the revhard kit? worth the money and what else besides the kit do u have to buy or is it everything u need?

Last does anyone else think this car is slow? I do that why im saving for a turbo. What can I do to make this car much faster? It seems to take forever to get to 60mph. BUT i am comming from a 96 firebird formula with a nasty V8 and 6speed tranny. I understand you can't compare the cars but I do want some speed like I had with the firebird. Besides the power I love my EP so I need to work on that I guess power then look. Does the hondata help this cars slow o-60 speed?
Sorry for the long post have a good day guys
thanks,
Steve O

Well, aren't you just full of questions. ;)

First, do a search. Just punch in "Hondata" and you'll find enough
info to keep you happy for a long time. In simplified form, Hondata
is a good mod for several reasons - it improves throttle response,
it raises the rev limit and it has shown to improve quarter mile
times. It has _not_ been proven to really add any more power,
just sort of smooth it out and extend it. If you run that search,
you'll find dyno graphs to help support this.

Second, obviously Rocky will have to respond, but I'm fairly
sure that the Hondata flash isn't designed for a turbo/forced
induction. I *think* they are working on a supercharger application,
but so far it is still in test stages.

Third, yes, this car is slow. Any FWD car will lack the straight line,
quarter mile potential of a RWD/AWD car. It's just too hard to
get traction. That said, you can still make it fast via a turbo kit
(several guys hitting high 13s/low 14s with a kit on only 8psi or
so) or engine swap. There's lots of choices, unfortunately they
are all still pretty expensive. But try racing your old Firebird and
this Si on an autocross car and you'll see where the Honda
really shines. Hondata should help the 0-60 time, as you don't
have to shift (I don't think) to 3rd gear until after 60mph.
