Any opinions on Falken FK-451 ?

215/40 (ouch!) 18 of course.

Also thinking about 185 60 14s Yoko ES100s for my 14" LX stockies.

BTW The Paradas are very sticky in the dry at this thread dept. . .or lack there of:D

Ordered the FK-451 tires for the Zigens & the ES100 for the 14 inch LX stock wheels.

Will get them installed next week sometime.

Less than 100 miles on them. So far so good haven't pushed them yet. They are softer than the Parada Spec-2s and are silent at all speeds compared to the Paradas. The sidewalls feel softer and the contact patch seems just a few mm narrower. I'll update once they're broken in.

Well here is my lightweight setup. It is ugly as a motha but so far pretty functional. Tires feel great and the combo is much lighter than the 18" wheels. Between these two setups I shouldn't have to buy tires for another 40K miles or so. . . I'll put the Honda wheel covers on once I get an alignment.

The Falken tires are very very very very liveable compared to the Yoko Paradas. However, the turn in response is much slower compared to the Paradas. I have about 700 miles on the Falkens and again at any speed they're very quiet. I swapped the Teins for Sportlines so I'll be pushing the Falkens on on/off ramps real soon.
