i ve got a JVC deck 50w X 4 output thingy
i got Pioneer TS-A1680r speakers 220 Watts Max. Power (50 Watts Nominal)

would the Pioneer GM-X372 50 watts RMS x 2 at 4 ohms amp work well ? and power these speakers to there full potential?
and does it make a big difference from jus hookin them up directly to the deck?

and what does that 50w x 4 output on the deck mean? cuz isnt the amp doin the 50rms x 2 output as well?

would my speakers sound better? with the amp?

They'll definitely sound better with an amp. Your head unit doesn't put out 50x4, it's more like 20x4 (RMS). That's the key, RMS power. Manufacturers like to put what the max power is because it makes them look more powerful, but you'll never see 50w out of it.

50x4 on your head unit is nothing useful, I'd ignore it completely. You COULD run the speakers off the head unit, but they'll definitely sound better if you use an amp.
